Important! You’ll need a car for this itinerary. We always recommend DiscoverCars for the best deals and the widest selection on the island. You can compare vehicles, companies, and prices in one spot, so you’ll be on the road in no time.

1. Landhuis Chobolobo – Curaçao Liqueur Distillery (Start 9:00)
Kick off your day with a taste of the island’s history at Landhuis Chobolobo, home of the famous Curaçao liqueur. Walk through the distillery, learn how the iconic blue liqueur is made, and try a few samples (responsibly, you’re driving!).
Insider tip: In the morning it is usually quieter. Don’t leave without trying the tamarind or coffee-flavored liqueur. They are so good!

2. The Curaçao Aloe Vera Farm
A quick 15-20 minute drive takes you to the Curaçao Aloe Vera farm, where you’ll discover all the benefits of this plant. Walk through the fields, learn about aloe’s healing powers, and shop for fresh, local skincare products.
Insider tip: They sell an amazing product that helps with sunburn.

3. Ostrich Farm
The Curaçao Ostrich Farm , located next to the Aloe plantation, is perfect for families and animal lovers Join a guided safari tour and learn all about these giant birds. There’s also a small playground and souvenir shop on-site.
Insider tip: There’s a café if you want a cold drink before heading on.

4. Number 10 or De Dames (Lunch)
By now you’ll be ready for lunch. For a cozy café vibe and great coffee, stop at Number 10, known for its beautiful garden terrace and fresh, healthy menu. A second option is De Dames. Ther’re just around the corner, famous for their pancakes, pastries, and local lunch favorites.
Insider tip: When visiting Number 10: try their signature potato salad. The (Dutch) pancakes at the dames are so good!

5. Fort Beekenburg
Time for some history and sea views. Fort Beekenburg is one of Curaçao’s best-preserved forts, built in the early 1700s to guard the Spanish Water. Climb the tower for sweeping views of the bay and spot the old cannons still standing guard.
Insider tip: The fort is open-air and free to explore. Also, check out the old water basin on the right.

6. Quarantine Building
A bit further up the hill, you’ll find the abandoned Quarantine Building, a hauntingly beautiful piece of the island’s past. It was built to isolate incoming sailors. Wander the grounds for a quick look and some unique urbex photos.
Insider tip: Enter at your own risk and watch your steps.

7. Tugboat Beach (Snorkeling Sunken Shipwreck)
Next, it’s time for an amazing snorkel experience! Tugboat Beach is famous for the sunken tugboat just offshore—one of the best (and easiest) snorkeling spots on Curaçao. The water is usually calm and clear, perfect for all experience levels. Don’t forget to check out the pier, there are lots of corals and sea life there! If you’re lucky, you can spot a sea horse.
Insider tip: There are comfy loungers and a small beach bar for a cold drink after your swim.

8. Dinner at Brisa Do Mar (Pop’s Place)
End your road trip with a laid-back dinner at Brisa Do Mar (Pop’s Place), located right on the water at Caracasbaai. This spot is a favorite with locals for its relaxed vibe and great food. Local food, seafood, BBQ, and international classics all make an appearance on the menu.
Insider tip: Get there in time for sunset; the views over the bay is amazing.
