Discover Curaçao by E-scooter Tour
We did something fun!
We went on a guided E-scooter (Electric Scooter) tour to discover Curaçao’s east side in the area of the Caracas Bay peninsula.
The tour kicks off at Jan Thiel Beach, right near Zanzibar. We joined a small group and met our guide, Kelly, a friendly and super knowledgeable local who knew the area like the back of his hand. He took care of the route and made sure everyone felt safe and at ease throughout the journey.
Explore Curaçao by E-scooter Tour
The ride itself? Pure fun. E-scooters are easy to handle and surprisingly smooth once you get going. It’s such a great way to explore the island. Driving through coastal paths, past cacti and Curaçao architecture, with the Caribbean breeze on your face and turquoise water right beside you. You get to see parts of Curaçao that are of the beaten path. (watch the video)
The eScooter are Easy Riding. They are very stable and have very cool and big wheels. Are they Difficult to ride? not at all! If you know how to ride a bicycle, you sure can handle the eScooters.
The team will also share all the details about the ride and provide you with helmets that are properly sanitized, right after each ride.

Scenic Stops along the way
Our first stop was the Jan Thiel viewpoint, offering a wide, open view of the coastline—perfect for photos. From there, we cruised along to Caracas Bay and Tugboat Beach, both stunning and photo-worthy.
We also explored Fort Beekenburg, an impressive 18th-century fort, and the old Quarantine building tucked behind it. One of our favorite stops was Directors Bay Beach, a calm, quiet viewpoint over the beach that’s great for relaxing or snorkeling.
Local Knowledge & Friendly Vibes
Throughout the tour, Kelly and the rest of the team were super helpful and relaxed. They gave us plenty of time to explore, shared interesting local insights, and kept everything running smoothly. It felt more like a laid-back adventure with friends than a rigid group tour. This was also because it’s a small group tour.

Helpful Tips Before You Go
The Curaçao sun is strong—wear a t-shirt to protect your shoulders and don’t forget to apply sunscreen and grab Sunglasses before you head out. There are tons of photo opportunities and the team is ready to capture you in the moment, with photos and videos along the way, to make sure you can recall and relive the adventure later on. -By the way, they do it at no additional costs, its free!.
The tour takes about 1:45 hour and a bottle of water will be provided.
